Originally created on the 14th June 2019 before a transfer in mid-2020, Cloudland (formerly known as Floatland) for the longest time has been made with the intent to have people across the Splatoon community (especially the art side of things) come together in one place, whether it's long-time followers coming from Floaty's artwork or totally new people who just want to mindlessly chat or share somewhere, with the idea of safe chatting while keeping it fun for everyone.

Since reopening on the 2nd August 2020, Cloudland has been counting up to 240+ "Cloudlings".

Aside from the typical general and memes channels, both text and voice, we have channels that fit in for any community - we have art channels whether you draw or model, we have games channels, and of course, channels for mixed discussions!

Regardless of which community you come from, there's a channel that may or may not suit you. In case there's anything you like or dislike, you can right click and either add it to your favourites or just remove it from your channel list - simple!

Yes! Ko-fi membership subscribers for Floaty get a few rewards, including private channels and decorative icons. In correlation to the tier you subscribe for, you get a role with an icon corresponding to said tier and you unlock a certain set of channels, including but not limited to a member-only chat and artwork WIPs. In addition, you get to have your own input/feedback for each WIP and render while still in progress, and member-exclusive renders/alts!
While not strictly necessary to join Cloudland fresh new as a Ko-fi member, it is highly recommended that you do so in order to make use of the perks and that you link your Ko-fi and Discord accounts together. For more info, see here.
